Erhan Meço

Erhan Meço was born in İzmir, Turkey on November 22, 1983.

​

He graduated from Alsancak Gazi Primary School, İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School, and the Faculty of Law at Kadir Has University, respectively. He completed his LLM degree with a focus on Intellectual and Industrial Property (IP) Law at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Kadir Has University and the Europa-Institut at Saarland University (Universitat des Saarlandes Europa-Institut). In 2009, he started practicing as a freelance attorney at law registered in Istanbul Bar Association.

He served as a Military Judge at the Şırnak Court-Marshal from 2013 to 2014. Currently, he actively works as a legal counselor and attorney at law at the Meço Law Firm.

Erhan took an interest in the art of photography in 2007. In the pursuit of developing his skills in his newly found hobby, he ventured forward to self-train himself in the art of photography till 2014, and frequently went on international photography tours. In 2014, he attended the Photography and Photography Editing Training at the Cengiz Özer Learning Center. 

​

In 2017, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Photography and Camera Operation at the Open Education Faculty at Anadolu University. Presently, he offers private photography courses and the Art of Photography training at the Cengiz Özer Learning Center at İzmir Chamber of Photographers, in addition to organizing national and international photo tours.

​

To date, he has held two private photography exhibitions and taken part in numerous group exhibitions. He worked as an art consultant and a curator, made presentations, and served as a judge for photography contests.

​

Today, Erhan continues to serves as an attorney at law, and uses his personal passion for photography to contribute to society and the art of photography.
